Голодомор — это геноцид украинской нации, совершенный в 1932–1933 годах. 

    Сегодня мы вспоминаем Голодомор, организованный руководством Советского Союза с целью усмирения украинцев, окончательной ликвидации украинского сопротивления режиму и попыток построения самостоятельного, независимого от Москвы Украинского Государства.

     Советский режим хотел стереть память об убийстве миллионов украинцев. Но память народа является неистребимой, и со становлением независимости Украины был сорван запрет говорить о Голодоморе.

    Сегодня память о Голодоморе жива не только в Украине, но и во многих странах мира.

Так сохраняется правда, которая передаётся через поколения.
Но главное — не допустить, чтобы подобное преступление против человечности, акт геноцида когда-либо повторилось снова.

Holodomor is the genocide of the Ukrainian nation committed in 1932–1933.

    Today we commemorate the Holodomor, organized by the leadership of the Soviet Union with the aim of subduing Ukrainians, eliminating Ukrainian resistance to the regime, and destroying any attempts to build an independent Ukrainian State free from Moscow.
    The Soviet regime sought to erase the memory of the millions of Ukrainians who were killed. But the memory of the people is indestructible, and with the establishment of Ukraine’s independence, the ban on speaking about the Holodomor was lifted.
    Today, the memory of the Holodomor lives not only in Ukraine but also in many countries around the world.
    This is how truth is preserved and passed down through generations.
But the most important thing is to ensure that such a crime against humanity, such an act of genocide, never happens again.
