Геноцид ойрад-калмыцкого народа под названием операции «Улусы»

28 декабря день геноцида ойрад-калмыцкого народа, совершённого империей зла — СССР. В этот день началась принудительная и насильственная депортация ойрад-калмыков, известная как операция «Улусы». В результате этого преступления ойрад-калмыцкий народ был уничтожен как минимум на треть, а по ряду оценок — почти наполовину.

Это была сознательная политика уничтожения народа: разрыв с родной землёй, голод, холод, болезни, массовая смертность в пути и в местах ссылки. Преступления сталинского режима навсегда вписаны чёрной страницей в историю ойрад-калмыцкого народа.

Мы, нерусские народы, хорошо знаем, что такое колониальное насилие, депортации, запрет языка и культуры, попытки стереть национальную память.

Сегодня в одном ряду с татарами за свою свободу и независимость борются и ойрад-калмыки. Современное ойрад-калмыцкое национально-освободительное движение представлено рядом организаций за рубежом, которые продолжают борьбу за право своего народа на самоопределение, историческую правду и государственность.

Попытки российской власти замолчать, оправдать и «обелить» геноциды сталинской эпохи лишь подтверждают преемственность колониальной политики — от Российской империи к СССР и далее к современной России. Память о геноциде ойрад-калмыцкого народа должна стать одним из ключевых импульсов в борьбе за независимость Ойрад-Калмыкии.

Только в независимой от российской тюрьмы народов Ойрад-Калмыцкой Республике возможно воспитать свободное общество, знающее свою историю, уважающее своих предков и живущее в процветающем, справедливом государстве.

Комитет Независимости Татарстана желает ойрад-калмыцкому народу разоблачить на международном уровне все преступления Российской империи, Советского Союза и современной России, добиться их правовой и политической оценки и построить правовое, демократическое и независимое государство.

Genocide of the Oirat-Kalmyk People Known as Operation “Ulusy”

December 28 is the Day of Remembrance of the genocide of the Oirat-Kalmyk people committed by the empire of evil — the USSR. On this day, the forced and violent deportation of the Oirat-Kalmyks began, known as Operation “Ulusy.” As a result of this crime, at least one third of the Oirat-Kalmyk people were exterminated, and according to some estimates, nearly half of the population perished.

This was a deliberate policy of destroying a people: separation from their native land, hunger, cold, disease, and mass mortality during transportation and in places of exile. The crimes of the Stalinist regime are forever inscribed as a black page in the history of the Oirat-Kalmyk people.

We, the non-Russian peoples, know well what colonial violence means — deportations, bans on language and culture, and attempts to erase national memory.

Today, alongside the Tatars, the Oirat-Kalmyks are also fighting for their freedom and independence. The contemporary Oirat-Kalmyk national liberation movement is represented by a number of organizations abroad that continue the struggle for their people’s right to self-determination, historical truth, and statehood.

Attempts by the Russian authorities to silence, justify, and “whitewash” the genocides of the Stalinist era only confirm the continuity of colonial policy — from the Russian Empire to the USSR and further to modern Russia. The memory of the genocide of the Oirat-Kalmyk people must become one of the key impulses in the struggle for the independence of Oirat-Kalmykia.

Only in an Oirat-Kalmyk Republic independent from Russia’s prison of nations is it possible to raise a free society that knows its history, honors its ancestors, and lives in a prosperous and just state.

The Tatarstan Independence Committee wishes the Oirat-Kalmyk people success in exposing at the international level all the crimes of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, and modern Russia, in achieving their legal and political assessment, and in building a lawful, democratic, and independent state.

Freedom to the peoples. Eternal memory to the victims of genocide!
